Question about Hitachi Office Equipment & Supplies
I got a Hitachi CP-X345 lcd projector.
I know where the filter is and how to get the grey thing out. You know - first you remove the cover - light grey plastic and underneath that there is this dark grey filter.
I have gently washed it with a wet cloth - also the rest of the projector from outside.
Then i left it for some minutes and then i resampled it. But it stills says the same thing and the bulb where it says "Temp" (temperature i guess) is red.
So how do i clean it so it doesn't say that i need to clean it?? Shall i use canned air?, wash it under war/cold/normal water for some time and then let it air dry / do it myself? Hope you understand and you are able to answer quick. Thank you.
- you may use movie or text but if you are able to use a movie it would be super!! - i noticed that many more have the same problem but none of them got solutions.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Red power, blinking red temp
if the Lamp error and Temperature error lights are flashing red this means that there are two separate errors.

SOURCE: Resetting the air filter timer
If you do not have a remote here is how to reset the filter time. Use the "Menu" bottun to get the "easy menu" to display. Push the down arrow until you get to "Filter Time," then push and hold the RIGHT arrow to reset the filter time. DO NOT try to reset using the "Reset" option on the easy menu, it will not work.

What you want to do is go to the advanced menu, find the filter time and using the remote hold down reset button for 3 seconds or so while the filter time is selected. This will bring up a reset menu and reset the timer.
