Question about Bose SoundDock Digital Music System for Apple iPod - White
Maybe you guys can help me.
I have an Ipod Nano 3d generation and is giving me some problems when I use it in my Soundock.
When I connet it I can hear the music, I can turn volume on and off manually, but the Ipod just "freeze" i can´t change songs, neather manually or with the remote, also the ipod Battery is not charging, and it is totally without batteries in about 2 or 3 hours.
Try other iPods - if they work with no problems it is a problem with the iPod software, connect this to iTunes to get it updated, and also try a soft reset (hold down menu+center buttons for about ten seconds) if you still get issues, contact Bose.

If your 3rd Gen Nano is good then it sounds as though your docking connector may be faulty. To fit a new connector is easy and you can buy a kit or an upgrade from www.invebo.com at no risk. If it doesn't fix the problem then just send it back. They also sell on eBay. I have fixed a bunch of docks using their parts. The BC6 Bluetooth upgrade is amazing.
