Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
You can purchase the waste ink absorber pads from the manufacturer or their service suppliers, but that is neither here nor there, The issue you have is that the counter will need to be reset at the same time and this can only be done by the manufacturer service agents, and they will not give out the program to reset it, they are not allowed by their contract with the manufacturer. Add to this that it is a horrid job to replace the waste ink pads and unless you know what you are doing, you will cause lots of damage to the printer and cause yourself heaps of headaches. To put it into perspective, even the trained technicians who do this every day, dread replacing waste ink pads.
Get a pro to replace them, it is worth it even if it costs a few dollars.
