Question about Allied Telesyn AT-8000S/48PoE 48-Port Ethernet Switch (AT8000S48POE)
SOURCE: Get access
I am not sure if this will work on your model of switch but I had the same problem with an AT-9410GB Switch and I called Allied Telesyn with the switch MAC address and they gave me the backdoor password.
You must have the MAC address of the switch, they will need it to find the backdoor password because not all Allied Telesyn switches have the same password or this option to begin with.

SOURCE: can reset to default
Try to login in your switch through network connection and then try to do "factory reset" after that you can able to see your switch will set on default.

SOURCE: can you suggest a drop-in
There is no drop in replacement, the model is too old for that. You have 3 options
1 - source a functioning AT-8016F/SC online
2 - get the updated version - not entirely the same unit
3 - redo your entire network and switch to CAT cables and gigabit switches.
