Question about Audiovox D1708 Portable DVD Player
I have written to your customer support service twice in the last three weeks and have received no reply. Please respond. Purchased in July 2008--the audio on the DVD player is increasing getting softer--that you cannot hear it while travelling in the car. I believe, we have a one year warranty. Please advise.
COULD NOT FIND THE EXACT Portable DVD Player on your product list. The details are: Audiovox 8" portable Dvd Player Model #PVD80
Could be a blown speaker or the amp circuitry driving the speaker is bad. One way you can get around this is to run the audio through the auxillary output of your dvd through either headphones, your car stereo through a line input, or hook up a pair of external speakers to the player.
A lot of times the quality of the audio in the built in speaker on portable DVD players is not of good quality to begin with. The above suggestions should correct it.
