Pirated copies of Microsoft software is a thing of the past, and if you do find a copy of windows than you are more than likely going to use it for a short period of time before Microsoft asks you to validate your copy of windows (usually during updates) and if you don't comply than they freeze your operating system, than you have to purchase a genuine copy. So save yourself the headache and spen the money and buy one from a store.

I just need the activition code of windows vista ultimate. can i get one for free?

Contact Microsoft so they may help you obtain a legal product key. Free keys are piracy and we do not provide free key to pirated software on FixYa.
Software CounterfeitingThis type of piracy is the illegal duplication and sale of copyrighted material with the intent to directly imitate the copyrighted product. In the case of packaged software, counterfeit versions often include copies of CDs or diskettes containing the software programs, as well as related packaging, manuals, license agreements, labels, registration cards, and security features.

Software Piracy is stealing. If you or your company were caught pirating software, you could be held liable under both civil and criminal law. If a copyright owner brings a civil action against you, the penalties in the U.S. may be up to $150,000 for each program copied. The U.S. government can also criminally prosecute you. If you are convicted, you can be fined up to $250,000, sentenced to jail for up to five years, or both.

Downloaded files from audio Cds as .WMA files. MP3 wont play them, states "Unknown format".

Assuming you've used Windows Media Player to rip them, you'll need to bring up the Options dialog box. Click Tools > Options (you may need to press Alt or right click on a blank space in WMP to bring up the main menu.
From there, click on the 'Rip Music' tab and find the Format dropdown under 'Rip Settings'. Change 'Windows Media Audio' to 'MP3' and click OK. You'll now need to re-rip all of the music and re-transfer it to your device.
