Question about Canon PIXMA MP160 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Ok, so here I am in the installation process when after about 2 minutes into the alignment process I get the message above. So I did indeed open and close both covers--started all over again, got the same message. Next, I turned the machine off and began again--got the same error message. Next I turned it off and uplugged it, began again, got the same message. The cover fits just fine, there's no obstacles--what gives--I sure hope I don't have a lemon...It's identical to the one posted bu jude0892
The sensor which detects the cover is closed is moved from its orignal positiuon.just tab on all the sides of the printer and check out.
