CL 30 will not finish initializing stays stuck

Is there a code or reset button somewhere

    It was working ran about 5 jobs on it and went into a imitializing mode and never reset it self. I unpluging the printer, for about a week.
    I dont know how to reset the printer to factory setting, the key pad will not work.

    removed all toner and drums installed new transfer belt and fuser cleaned the machine, plugged it in and still will not reset itself from initializing.

After you have replaced a fuse with an aid of instruction, the counter will be reset onto "0" zero and your printer's transfer belt wants to run for another full cycle without any trouble.

According with the manual of this printer, if after reset to factory setting the error of initializing remains, the printer need to be serviced.

Reset your printer
With the printer powered off but connected to a power source, press the Power button while pressing and holding the Stop/ Reset button.
2) When the Power LED is lit, press the Stop/Reset button two times while pressing and holding the Power button.
3) When releasing the Power button and the Stop / Reset button (regardless of order), the printer will move into a service mode. (Waiting for menu selection)
4) When the LED lights in green, press the Stop/Reset button 4 times

    Try unplugging any network cables, turn printer off and back on and then try again, if it works, connect network cable back

Are you trying to reset it to get all of the ink used?If so, it's a simple trick.
Cover the holes on the side of the drum with electrical tape (the printer shines a light through, if the light goes through there's no toner left, but if it doesn't it acts like there's a full cartridge) 

Now use the following sequences on the printer:

1. Open the front cover and leave open while completing the following steps.
2. Turn the printer off. 
3. Hold the 'go' button while turning the printer on. All panel lights should be on. 
4. Release the 'go' button. 
5. Press the 'go' button 2 times. 
6. Pause. 
7. Press the 'go' button 5 times. 
8. The toner light should be off. 
9. The paper light should be on or flashing. 
10. Close cover. The ready light should be the only light on.

This should reset the drum so that you can get every penny of ink you paid for.

    Factory Reset InstructionsFor all XANTé Printers except the AW1200
    A factory reset should be performed only after all printer cables and components have been reseated and when all other methods of correcting printing errors have been exhausted.

    Note: Cables and components should be reseated only while printer power is off.
    1. Turn off the printer. 
    2. Use the chart below to determine the two-key combination required to perform a factory reset on your printer.

    LaserPress, Accel-a-Writer 812, all other printers except the AW1200
    Front Panel Reset Key Combination ONLINE
    FORM FEED TRAY SELECT
    FORM FEED ONLINE
    TRAY SELECT
    1. Turn on the printer while pressing the two-key combination for your printer.
    2. Wait until "initializing" appears in the printer's front panel window; then, release the keys and a printer start-up page will print.

    One last try... 
    Turn off the printer. 
    Reseat all cable connections. 
    Reinitialize the printer.
    Note: This resets all printer settings to the factory defaults. 
    Hold down the ONLINE and TRAY SELECT keys and turn on the printer. 
    Release the keys after RESET appears in the front panel window.

Unplug it from mains for sometime and then remove the toner from it and then reinsert it and then try out.

    Turn off the printer 
    Turn the printer on whilst holding down Menu button. (Display says user maintenance.) 
    Press the menu button three times. (The display will say drum counter reset.) 
    Press enter key. The system should go back on line, if not press on-line key.

    You can just put a new fuse on the drum. 
    When you insert the drum the machine resets the counter and then blows the fuse. So if the unit is ok and you just wish to run it through another cycle just change the fuse. 
    This means you cannot just put a full unit in from another machine as it will not reset the counter until you put a new fuse in it as you found out. 
    This applies to drums transfer belt etc. 
    Note with regard to refilling the toner, some printers have 2 sections. 1 where you put the fresh toner and an after collection section in the same unit. You must empty the 2nd section if you refill it more than 2 or 3 times

    you open the drum unit on top and look on the side cover the green fuse is there.

    1 - Power ON printer
    while holding both the + & - buttons until “USER” message apear in LCD.


    2) Press + or – button until “ENGINE DIAG MODE” is
    displayed;
     

    3) Press "ENTER", will be displayed
    "DIAGNOSTIC MODE XX.XX.XX S-MODE"


    4) Press + or – button until “NV-RAM INITIAL” is
    displayed


    5) Press "ENTER" again;

    6) Will appear "TABLE 1" message;

    7) Press "ENTER" until "EXECUTING
    RESET" message appear. the "NV-RAM INITIAL" message will
    BLINK...


    This procedure reset TONER, DRUM, FUSER and
    BELT...


    8) power OFF printer, wait 10 sec, and power ON
    again... =)




    To access Service Mode  power ON printer with 0, 1, 6, 7 at same
    time...

Hey,
Try unpluging the printer, try again after 5 minutes, how old is the printer is it covered by warranty?

has it worked recently have you dont any changes? try reseting the printer to factory default settings

Service-mode functions
NVRAM initialization
An NVRAM initialization will return the following device settings to the factory-set defaults:
All menu settings, including the fax header and company name
Fax numbers and names that are associated with one-touch keys and speed-dial codes
Additionally, all faxes stored in memory are cleared.
1. Turn off the product.
2. Press and hold both the down arrow button and the Cancel button, and then turn on the product.
3. Wait until the message Permanent storage init. appears, and then release the buttons.
When the NVRAM initialization process finishes, the product control panel shows the Ready message.
Super NVRAM initialization
The super NVRAM initialization clears all settings affected by a regular NVRAM initialization, and also
clears the product language and country/region settings. Both settings must be reset after a super
NVRAM initialization.

Canon Pixma MP210 will not recognize high yield PG-50 & CL-51 cartridges.


The canon pixma mp 210 uses PG-30, CL-31, PG-40, CL-41
It will not recognized the PG-50 & CL- 51
See if you can return it and exchange it for the PG-40 & CL-41.
If not, the only other way is to transfer the ink into the other ink cartridges.
The cartridge cap can be removed by a sharp tap at the back end of the cover.
You can glue back the cover.
If there is an E 1,6 Error code, Ink has run out after you install your ink cartridges
Press and hold the stop/reset button for about 10 seconds to clear the error code.

How to hard reset a 1312nfi


This reset will change user and network settings Before performing this reset it would be advisable to print some information pages to retain any settings that you might want to restore.

Configuration Page
Press Setup (wrench button) then arrow over to Reports, press OK, then arrow over to Configuration report, press OK.

Menu Structure
Press Setup (wrench button) then arrow over to Reports, press OK, then arrow over to Menu Structure, press OK.

Network Report
Press Setup (wrench button) then arrow over to Reports, press OK, then arrow over to Network Report, press OK.

After printing these reports it will be safe to perform an NVRAM initialization to hard reset the product. Follow these steps.

NVRAM initialization
1. Turn the machine off.
2. Press and hold the right arrow and cancel (x button) while turning the machine on.
3. Release both buttons when Permanent storage init. is displayed.

Once finished resetting the machine will return to Ready.

Cannot set IP address on Toshiba e stuido 16s copier


In order to set IP address, make sure printer kit/NIC is installed. Plugged network cable, Press Program button--> Initial Setup-->Network-->TCP/IP to configure IP address. Once finish, back to Network-->Complete to save the settings.

*Machine need to initialize network during startup, once finish initialize network then only u're able to access network settings. A status page will print out by default after finish initialized network.

I purchased new ink cartridges PG-30 and CL-31 I get error 5


Make sure you take the tape off of the electrical contacts before installing, and if they are refilled cartridges they have not been reset properly. If they are genuine Canon, you can return defective ones for 30 days.

Error 30


I have the MFC 465CN - I was receiving two error codes:
Unable To Clean - Error 30
Unable to initialize

To fix, I first cleared the memory by unplugging the printer, then holding down the red stop/exit button, keep it held, power up the printer, and dont let up the button until it finishes the start up.

I then pressed the "ink" button and performed a cleaning, alignment, and quality check. After this, everything worked fine.

DO NOT try to print anything from your computer or have any pending print jobs while doing this - it appears that pending print jobs, or anything in the printers memory was interferring with the initilization and cleaning cycle it performs.
