i have an 80 GB ipod classic which was underwater ( fresh) for a brief period of time. water went inside and was dried out using a hair blower. but if i want to be sure, i want to open it up and dry it some more before turning it on. i am afraid of the hard drive which got wet and if it would function again.

i cannot sync mp3 player (manufactured by a company called Slick) to windows media player . i read online that it could be because the files i am trying to sync are protected and windows will not overwrite it. other than downloading a music program (like windows media player), what else are my options? And if i do have to get another program so that i can sync protected songs, which program could i download that is free?
