You may have to reset the password which will reset to the router to Default Settings. Do this by using a paper clip to push in the little button in the hole, in the back of the router. You will need to re-adjust your settings if you had Encryption or anything and I would suggest settings a secure password. If you do not like this solution you must guess the password.

Need to reset password on a Belkin d80

To restore it to the factory settings press a paperclip into the hole marked "reset" for 5-10 seconds. Do that wile the router is on. Then if you need to set a special password you can connect to it and change the password.

To change the password connect to your router by going to your browser on your computer after connecting to your router. The default address for belkin is usually "192.168.2.1" for login its either "admin" or just left blank. there shouldn't be any password. After you login you can go through the settings and change your wifi name and password. Most routers also have many other security options like only allowing certain computers on that you add their mac addresses. Hope this helped. If you need more help just leave a comment.

If you need your default password it usually, is LOGIN: admin PASSWORD: admin. But please download your user manual, and it is all in there. If you simply cannot remember, one that you have entered, then you simply need to reset the router, it's in the manual, and then use the default, admin admin to login and password. then you can set it all up again, this time save your password.

How do I add passwor to my belkin router

Just simply type 192.168.1.1 on the address bar on your browser.

And login to the router, after you've been logged in, click wireless tab. And security sections, there you will able to add/change anything in your router. Recommended also that you change your router login password.

Forgot password to login

the only way to bypass it is to reset all your settings:
1. find the reset button (it's a small hole the size of a sharp pencil)
2. press on the rest button for at least 10 sec.
3. login with the factory default login.
