Hi
I presume you mean that your Memory is using up 100% CPU Resources, yet your not running anything which explains why that us happening.
A Typical cause of this is that you may be infected with Spyware or Malware. You can try running an application called Anti Malware from www.malwarebytes.com.
Also download Spybot Search & Destroy. Once you have run both of them, it should solve part of the problem.
You can also try Optimizing your PC's Virtual Memory by using this Guide, which includes a Calculator to work out exactly how much you should allocate the Page File :

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

What type of video card may I order to go in this unit

hi, im new with the whole computer knowledge but i have done some research seeing as i have this comp as well. just like me your needing to upgrade the comp to be more sufficient and up to par with todays upgrades seeing as this comp is old and prolly got it at Best Buy. but if your going to do some heavy media, gaming etc. i suggest getting a new comp that is up to date with todays changes. only reason why is the video card you require for this comp is a PCI which i have read is the lowest quality and probably soon to be obsolete that many programs dont support anymore. dont get me wrong you can still buy them, but dont expect high quality performance. remember you need a PCI not PCI Express (PCIE) to fit the slot that your motherboard has. ive done alot of searches for PCI video cards, i suggest just to google it or check newegg.com. im still actually looking around myself. im sure if you have this comp your also looking for an inexpensive part. anyways i hope this helped.

my upgrades are:
500 hard drive
60 slave
2g memory

My acer aspire t180 ua380a desktop comp will not post. I turn on the comp and the red light comes on but no green lights and again the comp will not post. I have reseated the ram and cpu.

If it won't post you have a bad memory chip or memory slot try a different slot. Do you have more than one stick of ram? if so remove one stick and try it in different slots, if it does not post then buy some new ram.

the problem is your pc Ram memory working not curruntly so first is may be loose connection of your ram so remove your ram memory and clean with soft cloth and restore. and second change your ram memory and run game see what happen.and last is you read your game readme file and look your game system requirement.

SLOW AND SKIPPING

You will probably need to stop some background programs to free up some RAM or you can always buy some more RAM memory.
