Is there a source of audio and video for the TV? Is it hooked up to the correct components? Is your TV input selected to your source feed? If it was working before, what has changed?

Our hitachi plasma tv will turn on for a second then screen goes blank and flashes a blue signal three times and continues this until i unplug it....anyone know why and how to fix this problem?

Hello. If the TV is actually making a picture, then goes black, I would try the Y Main board. If it never makes a picture, one of the ICs on one of the Y buffers will have a hole in it. If the latter is the case, finding the part will be next to impossible. Sorry... Good luck.

When I turn off my tv for an hour or more then turn it back on I get the blue hdmi signal then screen goes black but I can still hear sound but no picture. after turning off and on several times I finally...

Likely you have a heat related issue in the tuner. The picture cutting out is related to the tuner board over heating and signalling the power board to switch it off. The solution is to get better heat control on your TV. Try using a fan to see of this improves anything, and get a better ventilation to your tuner.

LG TV Goes Into Hibernation (I Think)

This could be two things 1- a power saving mode in the TV... go into settings on the TV, look for either "power save settings" or "energy star settings" go in and turn that off. 2- it could be a screen saving mode because the TV has lost signal...some HDDVR receivers such as Direct TV DVR etc...have their own power saving mode, after a couple our of inactivity, they turn off, which kills the signal to the TV...so the TV shuts down because it has no signal coming to it.... if that is the case, you need to go into the settings on your cable/satellite settings and also look for a "power save mode" or "energy star saving", and turn that off.

47in Phillips-tv picture goes black still has

Could be the signal board has a bad cap, in this case it sounds like you are getting intermitten power to the inverters....when the tv goes down and of course you have audio....Shine a flashlight on to screen and see if you have a picture...look carefully. If this is the case..you have the above problem!
