Question about Frigidaire FEF336BC Electric Kitchen Range
The smell of gas only comes from the oven. I don't know if it is the broiler or baker underneath. When I turn on the broiler or baker everything works fine. But I do notice it takes a while for it lite up. The ignitor glows instantly bright red for both broiler and baker. For immediate safety reasons I had to shut off the supplying gas flex line in the back of appliance. What should I do?
Check both oven ignitor and broiler by turning the oven first, and time the time that the ignitor takes before the flame lights up, it should not take more then 60 to 70 seconds, and do the same to the broiler.the one that takes the longer passing that mark of the 70 seconds needs replacing it 's not getting hot enough to light the burner on time that's the one that passes gas with out igniting. replace that one.
