A motherboard is an assembly. There are no parts to remove. Now, if you have devices installed on the motherboard then this is a different question.

If you have no prior experience with motherboards, you would be well advised to get some online training first as there are numerous mistakes you can make.

How to replace a motherboard

Take the laptop apart. Replace it with the same type of motherboard to avoid problems. If you replace it with the same type of motherboard then your Memory, Hard Drive and CPU will fit right in and work.

Hi guys i broke the left button on my hp pavilion dv6 1210sa note book and can not find replacement part i dont want to use a exturnal mouse either thanks

Well first you'll need to know how to take your laptop apart so I did find a website that can help you with that:

http://www.insidemylaptop.com/take-apart-hp-pavilion-dv6000-laptop/

The only problem is that you would need to replace the whole motherboard to actually get a "working" mouse. Sorry, I feel your pain.

Thanks,

Need to take the laptop apart and replace motherboard

First of all take care of screws they are hidden under the keyboard, keyboard has little "knobs like" locks at top sides and if you find it you will take it easily. If its first time you disassamble it better find someone experienced.

sounds like you need a new motherboard. Try to reset the bios with the jumper (or remove the battery and unplug it) and see if that does anything, if it doesn't start looking for a new mb.
