I have a LG Rumor 2 which worked fine till yesterday. Today, when I make calls an agent from Bell Canada comes on the line.

Virgin uses the Bell Canada network.

Come over to Fido, they are great and use the Rogers Network.

To overcome your present problem, you need to contact YOUR cellular provider whomever they may be.

You have 25 days till your phone expires! Sounds like your provider is shutting up shop.

Cannot switch on wireless connection Packard bell laptop does not have switch

Wireless problems with a Packard Bell PC or laptop can be caused by a variety of issues.

The best troubleshooting resources are the documentation that came supplied with the computer, and the Support section of the Packard Bell website.

Unable To Detect Wireless Network

If the Packard Bell machine is unable to detect a wireless network, the computer itself or the network could be at fault.

Check that a wireless signal is being broadcast via another PC or device, and check that are wireless adapter is installed, complete with the latest drivers, which are available at the Packard Bell website.

Unreliable Wireless Network

If the wireless connection is unreliable, intermittent or very slow, it suggests a problem with the Wi-Fi broadcast.

Try positioning the computer closer to the router broadcasting the wireless signal, or use a signal booster to improve the range.

Download and install the latest driver updates from the Packard Bell website and through the Windows Update tool.

Unable To Connect To Wireless Network

If the computer can detect the network but is unable to connect to it, a network security key may be required. This should have been configured by the person who set up the network. Consult the documentation that came with your router for details of how to change it or generate a new key.

Hope this helps

Hello buiskit: My name is Roger and I will help you. If the fluid runs down the firewall or leaks down on the floor board or on your foot. The problem should be the clutch master cylinder. However should the fluid leak at the bell housing area. Then the problem is the slave cylinder. To replace the slave cylinder you will need to pull the transmission in order to replace the slave cylinder. Should you need further help please just ask. Please rate the answer. Thank You for using Fix Ya. Roger

How to Set up the Bell DSL modem: http://www.digitalhome.ca/forum/showthread.php?t=97732

Setting up a Linksys WRT160N Wireless Router: http://www.linksysbycisco.com/US/en/support/WRT160N
(Download the Manual from this site)

Setting up a Linksys 16 port switch: There are many different switch models, however if it just your basic switch, you should be able to just plug it in and plug in your computers via RJ45 cables.

If you need any further assistance let me know....

Resetting password ? Bell told me I would have to change my router password

The router has a built in configuration chip that allows you to work on the router from your computer. This is called Web Admin Console

Your computer's IP address is 192.168.10.4
The router's address is by default 192.168.10.1 from factory. (AKA the GATEWAY.. like gateway to the internet) This can be changed but it is highly reccomened you leave it default.

To access the configuration of your router
Go to internet explorer and type http://192.168.10.1 hit enter.
You will see a window with a webpage of some sort that has the Motorola logo somehwere.
Look for PPPoE or password setting... you should be able to navigate from here..

A word of advice.. enter your password, save settings, slick or or something like that..
then restart router (pull power, wait 5 secs, and then plug back in) The router has to talk to Bell for a bit to make sure it knows that you're authorized to use the DSL line.

Best Wishes..

Internet router will only work with one computer turned on.it worked with bell but not rogers

Cable sees the mac address of the pc that you hook up and you need to set the router up as a dhcp server and clone the mac address into the router. that will make it work
