Question about Nintendo Wii Console

1 Answer

Cannot access options on the left hand side of the start screen.

My daughter accidentally put a regular dvd movie into the wii console. Ever since this happened, when we turn our wii on, the beginning screen comes on, but you cannot use the remote to access any options on the left hand side of the screen. Therefore we cannot choose to start the wii game because the disk icon is on the left hand side of the screen.

Did she put the DVD in backwards? A normal DVD movie should not affect the Wii system in any way, regardless. If it's still under warrenty, I recommend you back up your save games and Miis, then ship if off to Nintendo using their Repair Order request.
