Question about Valira Claudia Coffee Maker
A friend left my s. steel espresso maker on the stove and burnt the gasket. The residue of the rubber seems to have adhered to the stainless steel and I am trying to find a way to get the smell out from inside the tube that is in the upper part of the unit. Otherwise, I'll have to throw it away. I've tried shoving a stainless steel pad (pulled apart) up there with an abrasive (VIM / ajax) ... to no avail. Is there any liquid solvent I can try?
