Each time i want to boot my dell notebook,this errormessage comes up "this computer system,#3SENH**-595B,is protected by a password authentication system.you cannot access the data on this computer without the correct password.please type in the primary or administrator and press enter".i try to go the bios setup through f2,yhr machine forcefully goes directly to the error message.please i want to know if there is any where i can clear the machine's cmos to avoid this errormessage as i don't have idea of any primary or admnistrator password which the machine prompts me to type in and press enter. i believe someone has the solution to this error message,please help i am in a fix. eyo7 [email protected]
One way that used to work was removed the battery from the motherboard for like 30 secs with the machine unplugged. the battery is usually a round lithium battery. Hope it works John

i tried it it didn't work.i know that every problem has a solution,so anyone that knows how i can clear this error message should help his/her fellkow repairs technician out bcos i believe someone has enabled a primary password that will make this machine request for the password before coming up.please the manufacturers of this machione should tell me and the rest of the world what to do,bcos before this machine was built, i know the manufacturers knew that sthing like this will happen in the future,and they know the code that should work,help me,and save my job.
