the copier 5316 does not work with win7.you should have win xp on your pc.uninstall the driver.unplug the usb cable between you copier and pc.insert the cd and install driver again.then connect the copier to your pc.check if there is not any error code on your copier display.
Your expert wanted me to remove all the XP upgrades from the Add/Remove Programs menu (26 files individually) and restart after each one. Upon further investigation, I discovered a much easier solution. I found that Clearing the Block from the Windows Firewall fixed my problem. I clicked on a box "Unblock" in the CAPT Windows Firewall Utility window. Presto I can now print.
