When you take the unit out of your car and looking at the top of the unit there are two black screws. Remove those then remove the entire cd player cage by the 4 CHROME screws on the four corners of the cage the two in the front are in the two holes in the ver front (**use magnetic screw driver for this**) then disconect the two wire plug and the ribbon cable from the bottom of the cd player cage **BE GENTLE** there are two black tabs on either side of the ribbon cable. THEY ONLY MOVE ABOUT 1/8TH ON AN INCH using a jewler flat blade screw driver gently slide the clip out to un crimp the ribbon cable then once the cage is removed you can open the face. To open the face there is a white gear wheel on the rightn hand side of the unit you can rotate it with your thumb with a little effort. Rotate accordingly..... at that point you shouldnt have any problem but let my know if you do..

Pioneer DEH-2150 : CD Ejection switches off the Stereo

hi rolls
when there is no CD in unit hold the source button to turn unit to actual on position (when you insert a CD is it self guided once you push it to a certain point or does it just self guide instantly) if you sort of push it in a bit and unit turns on its because the pioneer function says to itself i need to be on so it will play for you but once you eject the CD the unit says time to turn off the solution i recommended should solve this if not let me know and ill figure out another step
hope i was able to help
