Windows Internet Explorer Errors on this webpage may cause it to work incorrectly

Internet Explorer users may experience frustration when the Internet browser displays an error code, especially if the error causes them to lose work or data.
However, many error codes can give insight into why the problem occurred and how it can be prevented it in the future.
Errors
Internet Explorer may display HTTP status code errors if it cannot display the webpage.
There are five classes of status codes that begin with the numbers 1 through 5. Each status code consists of three digits. 4xx describes client (user) errors.
4xx error codes include:
400 Bad File Request denotes inccorect web address syntax such as improper punctuation or capitalization.
401 Unauthorized denotes incorrect credentials (username and password). Users can attempt to access the page with different credentials.
403 Forbidden/Access Denied occurs when the server blocks access. The website owner may have instructed the server to block access to specific files or directories.
404 File Not Found denotes a missing webpage/file. This occurs when another site uses an incorrect link or the user incorrectly enters the website URL. Double check the address.
408 Request Timeout denotes that the the user or
user's computer stopped the request before the server could complete it.
According to Marc Liron, whom Microsoft has award the Most
Valuable Professional (MVP) award for his technical knowledge and community support, the 408 error can occur because the "user will either hit the stop button, close the browser, or click on a link before the page loads." Refresh the page to correct the issue.
5xx Errors b> Unlike 4xx status codes, 5xx status codes describe errors caused by the server that houses the webpage or file the user wants to access.

5xx errors include:

500 Internal Error denotes a server configuration issue. The error page may instruct the user to contact the website administrator and may provide a contact e-mail as well as additional information about the error.

501 Not Implemented denotes the server's inability to perform the request.

503 Service Unavailable denotes a temporary server status. The server may be overloaded or down for maintenance. Other Errors b> Internet Explorer may display a prompt that alerts the user of a javascript error or display a small triangle with an exclamation point (!) in the status bar at the bottom of the screen.

According to the UpdateXP website, Internet Explorer may display a "52 Runtime Error." http://www.updatexp.com/internet-explorer-error-messages.html This occurs because a javascript cannot find a file it requires. http://www.mediacollege.com/internet/javascript/basic/error.html You may be able to solve this issue by clearing your Internet cache.
Javascripts may also experience syntax errors when the website developed has made a mistake when writing the javascript. Website visitors typically cannot fix syntax errors because the website owner must edit the javascript. However, you can look for a way to contact the website owner to alert him or her of the issue.

How can I fix the text size on every webpage? Also,How do I get rid of internet explorer since I have Google Chrome now?

for to get rid of the explorer you just have to get t the start ..and set program access and defaults ..You will choose not to enable internet explorer and choose non windows..and set each program you need to use..and these will open when you click the internet or mail ..
For to enlarge a page web writing ..you can use the ctrl+scroll the wheel o r..just change the resolution with a smaller one and this way you will enlarge all on desktop and web pages..
By the way ..about explorer ..cause it is a windows built in program ..you can not uninstall it completely ..but the way I suggested is possible to disable the access to it and will not appear on the start ..and about google chrome ...even if it is a good and fast browser..i will rec. the use of Mozilla firefox instead.cause it is more complete ..and have possibilities to use more add ons and bars and ..things google chrome will not offer..in tools..but it still as fast ..and not invasive like explorer.

On facebook games ,i used to play any game i wanted but now only certain games load ,how do i fix this problem with such as farmville, ponzi inc

First, try to access your account in a different internet browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Opera) or different computer, if you can access the other games, then the problem could be the internet browser that you are using.

You need to try optimizing your internet browser. Here's how:

* For Internet Explorer version 6
1. Open IE6 > Tools > Internet Options.
2. Click the Delete Cookies button and Delete History.
3. Click on OK > Close and re-open your IE6.
4. Try accessing your e-mail account.

* For Internet Explorer version 7
1. Open IE7 > Tools > Internet Options.
2. Click the "Delete" button under the Browsing History option.
3. Delete the Cookies, Internet Files
4. Click on OK > Close and re-open IE7
5. Try accessing your e-mail account.

* For Mozilla FireFox
1. Open Firefox > Tools
2. Select "Clear Recent History"
3. Select Cookies, Cache, Browsing and Download History.
4. Close and re-open Firefox
5. Access your e-mail

Good luck!

1st: can't open gmail w ie; 2nd ie keeps shutting down

Hi, It seems that you might have installed some addons for IE and now you are in the situation. All you need to do it open Internet Options from Control Panel. Then in Advanced tab, click on Reset. Resetting Internet Explorer resets all settings to manufactures' default and in the process you will lose all saved passwords on Internet Explorer and you will have to re-enter them again upon use. Once done, fire-up IE and click on Tools menu > Internet Options and reset IE from Advanced tab once again from here as well. It means you will reset IE two times, first from Control Panel and then from IE window itself. Once done try to use IE and see the result.
However there are few addons available with Mozilla Firefox that resembles IE inside and opens all webpages that requires IE only. Download Coral IE Tab from: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/10909
Installed the addons and switch the view to IE to open all webpages that supports IE only.
Cheers!

Internet explorer can,t open my web page

First, check if you're able to open the webpages in other web browsers such as Mozilla Firefox, Opera, etc.
If web pages are opening normally in other browsers then restore the Internet Explorer to default settings.

Restoring Internet Explorer7/8 to its default:

1. Start Internet Explorer.
2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
3. On the Advanced tab, click Reset.
4. In the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box, click Reset to confirm.

Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It might have been caused due to some problem in internet explorer 7(IE7)

Try to uninstall IE7. You can use the following method if it does not show up in add/remove programs.
Reference: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927177
NOTE:

IF SP3 was installed AFTER IE7, you MUST uninstall SP3 first, uninnstall IE7, then re-install SP3. If SP3 is NOT installed, simply follow the procedure as shown.

Step 1:

Make hidden files and hidden folders visible
Click Start, and then click My Documents.
On the Tools menu, click Folder Options.
Click the View tab.
In the Advanced settings list, under Hidden files and folders, click Show hidden files and folders, and then click OK.
Step 2:

Uninstall Internet Explorer 7
To uninstall Internet Explorer 7, follow these steps:
Click Start, and then click Run.
In the Open box, type %windir%\ie7\spuninst\spuninst.exe, and then click OK.
Follow the wizard instructions to uninstall Internet Explorer 7.

  • Start Internet Explorer 7.
  • On the Tools menu, click Delete Browsing History.
  • In the Delete Browsing History dialog box, click Delete Files.
  • Click OK to close the Internet Options dialog box.
2. Verify that the Show Pictures option has not been turned off
  • On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
  • Click the Advanced tab, and then verify that the Show Pictures check box is selected under Multimedia.
  • Click OK.
3. Enable scripting, ActiveX controls, cookies, and Java programs
  • On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
  • Click the Security tab, and then click Default Level (if it is available) for the zone that contains the Web page (for example, the Internet zone).

Corrupted Desktop?

No, this is a hardware setting. When you checked your display monitor for manual settings did you see any? There would be display width, height, pincushion, trapezoid, etc. Which monitor do you have? Also you can still have Internet Explorer installed with any other browser as your default. When you go to Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs>Windows Features select Internet Explorer to reinstall that. Firefox does not support ActiveX scripting which is necessary to run many Microsoft diagnostic programs so never completely uninstall IE. You may also just download IE7 which is a tabbed browser like FireFox. Choosing FireFox allows better security but that is only because it does not use ActiveX.
