Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Why can't I download bigfish games on my new PC? I have paid for 4, and it won't load

The 2 most common problems for this are:

1:You may be having an issue with Internet Explorer. Try resetting Internet explorer to factory settings and the reinstall your adobe flash, shockwave and reader since these will not be in Internet explorer anymore. The instructions for the reset are located here:

http://www.icompute.info/IE7_Restarts.htm

The instructions are the same for IE8 and the page describes this for a different issue but all your doing is resetting Internet explorer.

Or 2: Your antivirus is not allowing you to installing your program. You may need to disable your antivirus while doing the install. Most antivirus programs allow you to temporarily disable them because they realize that the antivirus can interfere with installs.

Hope this helps.

Vista pc: adobe reader clobbers desktop

unless you are really set on using adobe's reader i strongly suggest using another reader like FOXIT READER ---

Adobe is a bloated, slow resource hog.

Be sure to uninstall Adobe Reader first though.

Compatability problem of antivirus and adobe reader.

Okay, time to start from scratch:

  • Back up your data
  • Reinstall your OS
  • Install AVG or Avira Antivirus
  • Install Spyware Terminator
  • Install Spyware Blaster
  • Install Adobe Reader or Foxit Reader
  • Install Comodo Internet Security Suite
With that base you can then install what you want and should end up with a responsive system. Takes a few hours, but the overall benefits are worth it.

Each time I click Acrobat Reader 5.0, I get a message "There is a problem with Adobe Reader. Please exit and try again". As soon as I exit, the system works. I am using Windows Vista SP1.

I don't believe that Acrobat Reader 5 is compatible with Windows Vista. You really should update to the newest version, which is 9.

You should be able to get it here.
