Dryer won't stay running after pushing the button.

that isn't the model number,it will start with 110. or 417.send the full model number and i can look up your dryer, most likely it's the even heat board or the motor relay but without the model number i can't look it up for you, these parts are in the top console, call the parts store give them the model number and they'll give you the right part or send it to me,let me know what you find

Dryer stops when I release push to start button

Timer may need to be replaced. You can test it with an ohmmeter or test light.
You can do the same with the push button. If you have more problems, then the main control could be faulty

Hi my dryer buttons seem all good but as soon as i start the spin it spins for a second then stops then it beeps repeatedly

Whats brand dryer is it? Older style or newer style. Is it the regular machanical timer style dryer or the new computer led light style dryer? If it the regular machanical timer style type, then you saying when you push the start button it starts but once you let go of the "push to start" button it stops. Is this right? In that case is could be a bad motor. The centrifigal switch in the motor is probably bad and isnt holding to the "run winding" in the motor internally.

Dryer does not start I already replaced the timer

First check the dryer push button on switch; next, meter the start relay and, the centrifugal switch on the front of the motor (this switches the start motor winding on; then off as the run winding takes over

Kenmore dryer 70 Series doesn't shut off, timer continues to run

there are 2 different kinds of units made back then.
one has a push to start button that could have a stuck contact causing the unit to think you are pushing the button and want it to run again.
the other could have a stuck motor switch and thats not available separately. you would have to replace the motor. try to clean any lint out of the motor if you have that type. use compressed air to blow the lint out of the motor. it usually works to get the lint out and it can cause the switch to stick.

Dryer problem

with power disconnected
follow the wires from the start button, to a relay,
check the wires (both ends) of all leads to the relay and reconnect any that have fallen off. (crimp tighter if they have fallen)
Check door switch function and connection.
check timer connections
the relay start-button timer and door switch comprise a latching circuit, when the start button is pressed the relay is supposed to latch closed and supply current to heater and motor. if the latching circuit disconnects the relay does not latch closed, and only runs as long as the start button is pressed.
if nothing has disconnected one side of the relay has usually failed, and the connection is not being made to latch the circuit
replace relay
cd48320.jpg relay is shown at right, 2 switches connected by a dashed line.

Kenmore Electric Dryer..Timer runs backwards only sometimes.

Probablyl the timer motor. Synchonosous motors that run these timers have a internal part that insure they always start the same direction.
