Turn off the printer and drag the cartridge trag gently to the right place. and fix the cartridge. But this is not the best way. First try swich off the printer from  power for around 2 mins and then try.

How do i stop the cartridge holder in the right place to replace the ink cartridges ?

In most printers the carriage come to the center when you open the top cover. Sometimes the carriage will go all the way to one side before returning the the center if you give it a min it should stop in a place where you can replace the inks. It it's not then you may have a problem with the printer.

Hi
Yes it should stop in it place for you to get at the cartridges but it not ok It up to you can try to stop it by switching the power of when it moving and hope it stops in the right place or chantilly move it by hand to get at it.

I know it say in the manual not to stop it when it moving but what can you do? It cant harm it that much it just like if there is a power cut it would do just the same.

My Epson SX 100 is low on the three colours but when I open the top to get to the Cartridge Bay, the cartridges are not stopped on the right place for me to change them with new ones. They are stopped on...

Have you pressed the ink button to move the ink carriage to the correct position? Press the ink button to indicate each empty cartridge and then move it into the replacement position.

If it doesnt move you could always turn the printer on and as the carriage moves across pull out the cable or switch off at the wall socket. The carriage can now be pushed into the correct position. Push it back fully to the right before turning back on.

Message on Epsom Stylus DX6000 reads E-02. How to fix?

E-02 is an ink cartridge error, possible causes incude faulty ink cartridge chip, incorrectly installed cartridge, dirty contacts, ribbon cable not fitted correctly to carriage or faulty CSIC board in the carriage.
Your first step would be to remove all of the cartridges and clean the contacts and cartridge chips with contact cleaner or alcohol wipes. Refit cartridges ensuring that they all click into place and check the ribbon cable into the carriage is secure.
Hope this helps, please take a moment to rate this solution. Thanks.

I can't get the ink cartridge carriage to stop in the right place

It would help if you told us the printer make & model, however the easy way (for most inkjets) is to turn on the printer, when the carriage moves across simply pull out power cable or switch off at the wall socket. You can now push the carriage into the right position. Ensure it is pushed back the the park position before turning back on.

Please take a moment to rate this solution, thanks.
