Can't install any anto-virus software, the window always closes
I really need help/advice/instructions regarding how i can install an anti-virus software... i used to have norton, but it wasnt working so i decided to remove it... when i was attempting to install another software, whenever i would insert the cd, the window closes and the desktop blanks for a while...
also, whenever i attempt to download a software (like avira or kaspersky) from the internet, all the windows/web browsers always close automatically when i type the word anti-virus software... the same thing happens over and over again and my desktop blanks for a while as well...
Thank you very much and i really hope you can help me...

here are some suggestions of what the problem might be you may have a virus on your computer you may need to do some update for IE9 do you have virus protection? do you have a malware program for viruses?like trojans do you have windows xp?
Utorrent is a stand alone java P2P tool. It should not affect your internet Explorer. Of course there are viruses out there disguised as utorrent etc, so make sure you downloaded utorrent from none other then utorrent.com. If utorrent installed a browser plugin, like a search bar, that may be causing the issue. Try disabling the toolbar or uninstall utorrent to see if the issue goes away. Make sure your computer is current with windows updates and of course do a virus scanner. A good tool for that is www.malwarebytes.org . If you are downloading files from torrent sites, much like any other P2P protocol, your chances of viruses go way up.
What do you mean by writing only anto virus? Do you wan to install a free anti virus (may not be Norton)? Then please go to www.download.com and download free AVG antivirus. I have been using it for the past over eleven years and find it suitable for home use. There are others too at that site but AVG is the most popular.
scan system for viruses then here is my advice : Just go to www.microsoft.com and download internet explorer again
and install it , then reboot your system . I'm sure that this will
solve the problem . any way , why don't you try other internet
communication softwares like ( firefox or google chrome) those both are
great also . I advice you to have more than one internet communication
software . I already have three just in case if one of them is
corrupted . I have ( Internet explorer and firefox and google chrome )
. just try the idea and you'll be satisfied with the result .
If that didn't help then try to check system for errors . such as registry errors . good luck .
