Vibrating speakers even at modest levels. Have tried adjusting bass & treble to no avail. Panasonic TH 37PX80B still under warranty.

Audio out level low


Is there a "audio out fixed/variable" in sound menu? If there is, this would output 'line level audio' vs. variable level by TV volume control.

Polaroid will not release component schematics not even to service centers as they are designed to replace the entire modules while under warranty out of warranty there is very little Chance of obtaining new replacement parts. Follow this path for the service menu.

Select sound menu on remote, set BASS to max and then TREBLE to minimum now press the INDEX key on the handset and VOL- on the TV, this should get you into the basic setup menu.

2. Simultaneously press INDEX button on remote control and
VOLUME DOWN button [ - ] on the TV set.

1. Set the channel to CH99.
2. Press HOLD button on remote control.

Volume wont work


In the menu for initial setup look for a setting for center channel and turn it off. If it is on you will have no sound because it turns the TV speaker into the center speaker for a surrond sound receiver input.

Please connect optical out of the DVD recorder to the input of panasonic TV. Next connect TV's optical out to the input of Onkyo amplifier. connect speakers to the out put of Onkyo amplifier.

The set is in the service mode. TO EXIT THE SERVICE MODE PRESS VOLUME DOWN ON THE SET AND THE OK BUTTON ON THE REMOTE F0R 3 SECONDS.WHEN SELF CHECK SCREEN APPEARS UNPLUG THE UNIT. Solution found on Fixya by QTV1 posted on Nov 20, 2007
