Question about Microsoft Windows XP Professional
The window media player gets loaded if i open any other application.I removed the WIndow Media Player from the Add Remove but due virus the wmplayer.exe and its related files gets added each time i delete it.Even if i formatted the C drive but still the same thing happens. How to get rid to this virus.I have the updated AVG and also the quick heal, which i have tried recently but it is of no use.Can you please suggest me the best solutuion for this problem, i do have some important files for which i could not format the whole system, even if i take a backup i guess when i will restore data again the same problem will happen.
Formatting C drive while retaining data on other drives or partitions still leaves you vulnerable. I recommend that you burn your data to dvd/cd and perform a clean install to be sure you have a healthy operating system. Before you do that run the Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool and the Windows Media Security updates:http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=ad724ae0-e72d-4f54-9ab3-75b8eb148356&displaylang=enhttp://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/Bulletin/MS08-076.mspx#top

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
