Problems with tracking hi-fi audio on Panasonic AG-7350 VHS

I cannot get the deck to output a hi-fi audio recording that was made on another machine. I know the tape is good and the hi-fi audio is playable just fine on another deck.
The front panel controls do not allow me to adjust the tracking to the proper setting.

Is anyone familiar with any internal adjustment which would allow a wider range of tracking??
Any help is GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Hi - I have a panasonic ag-7330 SVHS deck. It lights up but does absolutely nothing. The Video Rec Servo light is blinking constantly. Any ideas?

It could have a timer record present that needs to be cleared. Otherwise it could be the mode switch playing up. But that too can be caused by physical damage inside the unit, thus setting the mechanism in the wrong position. In other words it thinks it is in record mode when it's not!

Did you try cleaning the tape head of the player?

For some reason be sure all the gear or any mechanical inside the player is freely rotating.

Adjust the VCR tracking to get a good picture.

Unable to switch from "Norm" audio track on old tapes

Hello, this problem is because of the nature of previously recorded signal. The recording made in an older way (mono) has a separate head and the solution for your problem can be to clean the head. This head has two functions, for control pulses and audio signal. If you need more info please advice. Arpi

How do I connect my panasonic vhs 188 camcorder to a dvd recorder?

Hi,

On these old models of VHS camcorder, I recall they have either RCA outputs, or BNC connectors which will require a BNC adaptor (to convert to RCA).

Using a 3RCA lead, connect the camcorder to the video (and audio) inputs of your DVD recorder.

This happens when he strings are worn out or broken. It will not hurt to replace the strings of the VCR after some while.
