When I try to access facebook.com I keep getting "page cannot be displayed , what is the problem here ?

Facebook uses https as its protocol once you have logged in. If other websites (such as Google, Yahoo, Amazon, etc.) work but websites such as Facebook, online banking, and others do not, then it seems that there is a problem with the security settings of the web browser since it would appear that the problems are only with websites that use secure HTTP (which is what the https protocol provides). Presuming that you are using Internet Explorer (as I have found it to be the most commonly used browser when this problem occurs), what you need to do is reset your security options back to defaults. You accomplish this by going to the Internet Options control panel applet or go to Tools'Internet Options from the pull-down menus within Internet Explorer and then click on the Security tab. You will find four icons at the top of the window for that tab: Internet, Local Intranet, Trusted Sites, and Restricted Sites. Click on each in turn and make sure that each has the Default Level button greyed out. If the Default Level button lights up for one of the options, click on it to reset its settings. After this, click on the Advanced tab and then click on the button toward the bottom that is labelled "Restore Advanced Settings." After this, click OK and close all windows of Internet Explorer that you currently have open. Wait about 30 seconds (to insure that all active Internet Explorer processes close out of memory) and then open Internet Explorer again and try to go to Facebook. If all goes well, you should now be able to get in.

I hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Bankof america sign in

Contact Bank of America - the phone number should be listed on their website. No one here can assist you with an online bank account login issue.

Are you unable to log into your nedbank currently? Can you provide some details about how you used to login last week and how it is different now?

Getting 2 short beeps and 1 long beep – black screen. gave a quick message once – “could not initialize video card”

Hello,
Your computer has memory problems. First checkvideo. If video is working, you'll see an error message. If not, you have aparity error in your first 64K of memory. First check your SIMM's. Reseat themand reboot. If this doesn't do it, the memory chips may be bad. You can try switchingthe first and second banks memory chips. First banks are the memory banks thatyour CPU finds its first 64K of base memory in. You'll need to consult yourmanual to see which bank is first. If all your memory tests good, you probablyneed to buy another motherboard.

Clean the ram and the ram slot .then fit it again.

I am having a problem logging in to my online banking i am getting a time out dislpay i have talked with sov.bank and they say because this is a new explorer site they do not except it and i should go...

Personally, Internet explorer just doesn't cut it for a lot of my websites. I've actually had the same exact problem. I've all but completely switched to Firefox web browser. It's backwards compatible with almost every site I've ever visited and I've noticed many fewer crashes.

Try firefox at www.firefox.com and see if that works better for you. The best thing about this browser is, the site I visit that must be viewed with internet explorer are viewable. They have a downloadable add-on that lets you run internet explorer in a firefox tab. :)

I hope this helps out, but other then my idea there isn't much you're going to be able to do. If their banking tools won't allow IE8, then you've gotta bite the bullet and use something else.

Hi just subcribed to t mobile wireless and ive found that some of the sites i wish to visit are blocked eg facebook or internet banking can you help ?

Using Internet Banking via Wireless is not recommended.Facebook may come into that category as well if you are exchanging personal information. It is probably a security issue which can be resolved by you speaking to T-Mobile.

Having trouble accessing secured websites on my computer

Okay, u gotta try this, in the internet explorer window, go to tools, internet options, click on the security tab, and make it reset all zones to defaul level and hopefully these allows u to enter other sites, and if this does not work then try this, go to the internet explorer window again, tools, internet options, click on the advanced tab, and click on reset. u will have to restart internet explorer for this option to take effect ( close all the internet explorer windows ) and this could work, if this doesnt, then i dont know what to suggest, but i m positive this will fix ur problem.
