I think the problem is with your RAM installed, try to swap other memory on your computer or try your RAM to other PC to determine if its working.

Reinstalled xp after major virus infection.. cant find propper bios driver. Windows start up and immediatly i get the blue screen of death! ;)

there is something to checkout for u. reinstall windows xp and do not install any driver just checkout that ur system is running properly or not. if yes then install one driver at a time and check the system that any blue screen appears or not. if any blue scrren appears then remove that driver and go for the latest version of that device driver. reinstall the xp from good media i.e it should contain all the reuired files and dont skip any files from installations.

Problem w/ Pcchips A13G+

PC-Chips infamous for memory controller issues.

In the BIOS, set the memory speed to the highest CAS and lowest speed. Make sure FSB and memory timing are asynchronous so you can slow the memory. Turn off interleave, etc...
Is your memory mismatched? Use one stick, and pick the best one.
Try a different one.
Almost guarantee it is a memory issue of some sort.
