If it is printing the wrong symbol you are probably in KBII mode. There may be a KBII key or more likely a key in the top row with KBII above it, press code and that key.

You don't. Printers only print what the computer (or smartphone app) tells it to print, The dollar sign is above the number 4 and is accessed by pressing Shift+4 = $

However, uninstall the printer on your computer, then go online to epson.com, support, drivers, then identify your printer and download and install the epson supported package for your operating system. Install, restart, then look at control panel for installed printers and pick the one you just did and mark it as default printer.
You have to uninstall the printer software/drivers and re install it. The printer prints garbage text only if the drivers are corrupted or in-compatible.

It sounds as if you have scanned/faxxed a lot of things from this machine. It is just that you need to clear the memory. Remove all paper so that it is not wasting ink or paper. Turn the unit on and navigate through the menu until you come to pending jobs and clear them and then clear the memory. Hope this helps!
Hi, im guessing what you mean lol. if you mean its printing lots of symbols etc all over the page you should uninstall the printer, and reinstall the printer and check cable are pushed in right, usually fixes this fault..
0128 is not a recognisable sysmbol
Go to the Toshiba web site and the tech Support team- evidently there has been an error in the printed instruct as to the symbol number.
