Hi.

The most probable reason you are getting the bad checksum error is you have to set the date and time because you have cleared the CMOS and reset the BIOS.
You should also get a message that says press F1 to load defaults or press a certain key to access setup. Access setup (BIOS) and set the date and time. That should take care of the bad checksum error.
Another good idea is make sure the motherboard battery is not dead either.

During start of the computer pc stopped for F1 and F2 key,when press F2 then it will run ,also mention Bios Update during start.Pl suggest what will i do,for Bios upgrade and its procedure...

your CMOS battery needs to be changed..u can find it on motherboard...

Hello!


That's the 2nd time i hear that kind of problem. Your mboard battery is new, and you did not press "f1" at first start.

so i guess , the cmos time is not change, try go to the bios setup and load "bios setup default." after that change the time setting on the bios. please find time setting and set it with a current ime in your area. after setting press 'F10" to save and exit the setting, the system will restart.
