As the game boots up, press "A,B,X,Y,L, and R" all at the same
time to erase all saved game data. This resets the game to all defaults and it's like it's a brand new cartridge. Stinks you lose your save data but at least you get to play again.
Where did you buy this game? Is it from a reliable source? There's been known fake DS games that don't work. And usually the case is the game shows a message "can not access saved data. please turn of power and re-insert game". This is actually my first time with a case where it can't erase the data. Try contacting the previous owner.
is this a multi card or a normal game, if its a multi card for e.g R4 or Ncard you need to change the save format settings, but if its a normal game one of the teeth could be damaged or even a glitch, if thats it then you need to take the game back to where you bought it from (depending on how long you have had it between 6 to 8 months)
