HTC 8925/ ATT TILT Touchscreen

Maybe you can save me....I just replace the touch screen on my phone. the screen functions correctly when the phone is apart, but once I snap the "slide and tilt piece onto the lcd piece the lcd screen loses its touch capability. If I unsnap it it works fine.
