Question about Grohe Faucets

Grohe ladylux faucet loose on counter.

I installed a Ladylux faucet (33755SD0) about 3 years ago. The base has recently worked loose where it mounts to the counter. I have the fitting key that I used to tighten the base when I installed it but the spout simply snapped into place. I need to remove the spout to re-tighten the base. How do I release the spout from the base?

I have Grohe Ladylux and the flow will arbitrarily switch from stream to spray on its own.

Mine would stick in the spray setting. I soaked the whole head in vinegar to clean it and the problem went away.

How do you remove the supply line from the spray head?

The hose should simply unscrew from the back of the head.

Need to tighten my ladylux

Grohe has a special tool that is used for installation that comes with the faucet. You have to remove the pullout spray and remove the curved neck of the faucet by pulling out. Insert the tool in the main body and tighten from above. Most plumbers will keep this tool when installing. I don't know if Grohe still uses the same system still today, but they did in the past.

Water flow from grohe ladylux kitchen faucet has slowed down with time. What can or should I do to increase water flow?

If it has a removable aerator screen, remove it and clean it out. If it can't be removed, try soaking the entire head in white vinegar for a couple of hours. You should see a big improvement.

I have a grohe ladylux that is almost 3 years old. the water pressure is low. When i unscrewed the head water flows well, but when the head is back on it rens slowly. I,ve cleaned the screen by unscrewing...

On this particular faucet you may not be able to reach the part that might be giving you issues in the spray head. However, to take the head apart, on the spray face you will turn it counter clockwise, the aerator will come out at that point and you should be able to see down into the tube to see if there are any obstructions. Also if you are using the little Grohe water filter that goes into the handle before attaching the hose, it is possible that that is clogged especially after 3 years. You should be able to remove that altogether, or contact Grohe for a replacement. If once you have removed all of these and have found no removable obstructions, then the only other thing to do is contact Grohe for a replacement spray head which I believe they are still available. Hope that helps.

Your Grohe Ladylux should be under warranty. Call the company at 630-582-7711. Their customer service was great when they replaced my quick coupling after it broke.

Good luck
