Question about Philips Magnavox 9P6034C 60" Rear Projection Television
We have a Phillips Model# 60PP9202/17F and the Convergence seams too have gone bad we have a green arch on the bottom of the TV with a red arch above the Green one and also the top is also off off the opposite way. Have tried to adjust the Convergence but nothing seamed to help. The TV was made in 2004 and this is the 3rd time it has needed repair, so we were wondering if this is a cheap fix or shoulkd tv be scrapped?
More than likely the repair company used cheap chips when they did the repair. The cheap ones fail real quick. Goto the site www.TvRepairKits.com. They have built a kit that you can do yourself. It includes name brand chips and a photo instuction guide.
