Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console
Our PSP had a dead pixel problem or something. The system whould be on but nothing whould show on the screen. The screen whould be completly black. We had chared it and everything, but still nothing.
You may need to replace the LCD screen. I have encountered this on several occasions and by simply replacing the LCD is takes take of the problem. If you are running the old style PSP you can buy a screen for about $25.00 US, if you need the newer "Slim" model the screen cost is about $53.00 US. The job is quite easy to do and if you buy the screen it usually comes with the special screw driver needed to remove the screws to take it apart.
Let me know if you need help in locating the parts and assistance in repairing the PSP, I can help you start to finish.
