You may need to replace the LCD screen. I have encountered this on several occasions and by simply replacing the LCD is takes take of the problem. If you are running the old style PSP you can buy a screen for about $25.00 US, if you need the newer "Slim" model the screen cost is about $53.00 US. The job is quite easy to do and if you buy the screen it usually comes with the special screw driver needed to remove the screws to take it apart.
Let me know if you need help in locating the parts and assistance in repairing the PSP, I can help you start to finish.

Psp wont play umd

Well, either there is something wrong with the game or the PSP is messing up. If i were you, i would take the game back in exchange for a new game, but get the same game. I would try it in the PSP. If it doesn't work then there is something wrong with the PSP. If the PSP still has a warranty, then you can contact the manufacturers and they could see what the problem is. If you don't want to do that and if you Just bought the PSP then exchange it for a new one. But if you have had it for awhile now, i don't think you could get a new PSP. So, i hope i helped you out some. Good Luck.

My PSP has a black inkspot mark on screen

Your PSP has a stuck/dead pixel...

Navigate your PSP's web browser to this url: http://pspdemocenter.com/files/apps/pdc_pixelfixer.php

NOTE: DO NOT LOOK AS IT CAN CAUSE SEIZURES

Leave that for a few minutes, in fact, turn your psp on it's screen to prevent seizures

If the pixel works, it was just stuck, if it doesn't work, it's dead (not a big problem, just replace the screen if you want all working pixels)

The psp would show nothing in the screen

The PSP is bricked or the screen is broken.

Google "bricked PSP" this happens when a system update is interupted by being turned off or the battery running out. the only way to fix it is to either hack it, have it hacked or send it back to sony to let them fix it.

You may have a dead pixel on the screen. Sometimes dead pixels will seem to disappear when the screen turns a different color. The only way that I know how to fix it is to get repairs.

Hi Azeem123,

Your PSP is Bricked.  You need to send it to Sony to get your problem resolved. The contact information is listed below.

I know this is terrible news for you.  When you were downloading the Flash0, something disturbed the download and corrupted the PSP. This is what Bricked you PSP.  Brick refers to your psp and it is dead until Sony fixes it, no more worth than a brick.
