Question about Euro-Pro F1066 Deep Fryer
I was a bit stupid after I washed the unit it didn't work. I noticed the reset button (in the back of the display where it screws together, I had a black plastic reset button). That was not my problem, when I put the element back in, I didn't notice the plastic rail that it slides in. Without putting it in the rail it doesn't offset the safety switch.
I hope that makes sense and will help.

Well, we had the same problem and I just got ti to work, someone posted the solution for one of the other models. The reset button is on the back of the element component (the one that you plug in to). Just as the other person said, it looks just like the screw hole, but it's a little black button (use a flashlight if it will help).
In my case pressing it directly didn't quite have that effect, it looked like it was in a permanently de-pressed state, so I decided to take it apart. Unfortunately, one of the screws is not a standard one, it has a triangle head, so i loosened all the others, wedged it open, and then pressed the button and wiggled it around from the inside (with a long flat instrument (like a table knife) for good measure I tapped on the little red button/dial looking thing that was just below it too.
I was skeptical that it would work, since the button never really popped back out like i was expecting, but in the end, i tightened all the phillips head screws back up, plugged the unit in, and voila - it works...
Hope this helps,
