Unfortunately it could be any of several boards, plasma sets are harder to repair because they have a lot more boards than a LED or LCD TV, its probability not worth repairing.

I have had some issues with high ESR readings in the capacitors in the scaler circuits in those units. Do you have an ESR meter to check the caps in circuit?

SOURCE: 55HDS69 Power Supply problem

I have found that the power supply is usually good, it's the other boards that tell it to shut down within a second. There are input called Vsego and VSago that tell the power supply to stay on.

SOURCE: Hitachi 50" Plasma (P50X01AU), power light comes on but no screen

Hope you already resolve it, if not, here what I went through 1. Try to get a service manual for your model ($10-18) from http://www.service-docs2.com or similar place. 2. Open the back and follow instructions how to remove and test the SDR-D and SDR-U board on the far left (take one off, see if you could see half the picture). Inpsect the chips on those two boards, you might be able to spot the burned out holes (that would be the defected board, seemed to be a known issue for particular models) 3. If it is the board, go to ebay and get the pulled out board replacement ($70-90) I fixed my 50 inch plasma this way

SOURCE: 55HT79 HITACHI BLUE POWER LIGHT BLINKS ON AND OFF.

I can't help you because after 26 months of ownership mine is doing the same thing (started on 7-12-09). Judging by the number of people with the same complaint I believe Hitachi knows that they have bad boards but refuses to replace them for customers unless they are within warranty. It also explains why the merchant that sold it to me in 2007 stopped offering Hitachi in 2008.

I'm disgusted because I'm anticipating a $300-$500 repair bill simply because Hitachi's design did not provide an external way of resetting it. Impossible to get to the menu to do a reset within 12 seconds before it starts the powering on booting cycle again.

Adding salt to the injury, mine is wall mounted and repair people will only work on it if it is readily accessilble when they walk in the door or if it is brought to the shop. Know what a 55" plasma TV weighs? Too much.

7 year old plasma screen 42PMA400A picture flickers horizontally

You need to replace your horitzontal buffer boards...they are located on the right side of your tv and there will be two of these. They buffer the signal and cause a problem just like yours.

Best of luck!! thank you!

No wireless connection for laptop. Linksys router - model #wrt160n v2

you can run a direct line to that router and go to the cisco web site and get the information you need to run that router. its a pdf format and is 2.56 Meg. Try this

SecureEasySetup (Orange/White) The Cisco logo is the Router's SecureEasySetup button. It

lights up and will stay orange when the Router is powered on. The color orange indicates that

the Router is not using the SecureEasySetup feature, while the color white indicates that the

Router is using the SecureEasySetup feature. When the Router enters SecureEasySetup

mode, the Cisco logo will turn white and start flashing. After the Router has generated

the SSID and WPA Personal key, the Cisco logo will stop flashing and stay white.

To clear the SSID and WPA Personal key, press and hold down the Cisco logo for five seconds.

The Cisco logo will flash slowly as the Router resets itself. The Cisco logo will turn orange to

indicate a successful reset.NOTE: SecureEasySetup is a feature that makes

it easy to set up your wireless network. If you have SecureEasySetup devices, run the Router's

Setup Wizard CD-ROM and follow the onscreen instructions to use SecureEasySetup.

Power (Green) The Power LED lights up and will stay on while the Router is powered

on. When the Router goes through its selfdiagnostic mode during every boot-up, this

LED will flash. When the diagnostic is complete, the LED will be solidly lit.

DMZ (Green) The DMZ LED indicates when the DMZ function is being used. This LED will

remain lit as long as DMZ is enabled. WLAN (Green) The WLAN LED lights up when

the wireless feature is enabled. If the LED is flashing, the Router is actively sending or

receiving data over the network. 1, 2, 3, 4 (Green) These numbered LEDs, corresponding with the numbered ports on the Router's back panel, serve two purposes. If the LED is continuously lit, the Router is successfully connected to a device through that port. A flashing LED indicates network activity over that port.

Internet (Green) The Internet LED lights up when there is a connection made through the

Internet port. A flashing LED indicates network activity over the Internet port.

Good luck

Re my pixma mp13o printer. message"ink waste tank almost full" how do I rectify it. tried switching on and off and unplugging for 10 seconds.

Three choices. 1. Take it in for repair. 2.Take the top off and remove and clean the pad. 3. Use the following instructions to reset the printer and continue printing. I chose number 3 and haven't had any problems.
These are the instructions which worked for me on my Canon mp470 and has work on many other Canon models:

1) Close the print2_bing.gif head cover, and turn off the printer. While pressing the Resume/Cancel button, press the Power button. (Do not release the buttons. The LED lights in green to indicate that a function is selectable.)

2) While holding the Power button, release the Resume/Cancel button. (Do not release the Power button.)

3) While holding the Power button, press the Resume/Cancel button three times, and then release the Power and Resume/Cancel buttons. (Each time the Resume/Cancel button is pressed, the LED lights alternately in either orange or green, starting with orange.) During initialization, the LED blinks in green.

4) When the LED stops blinking and lights in green, press the Resume/Cancel button the 4 times. (Each time the Resume/Cancel button is pressed, the LED lights alternately in either orange or green, starting with orange.)

5) Press the Power button. The LED lights in green, and the
selected function is performed. (When the operation completes, the printer returns to the menu selection mode automatically.)

6) Power off then back on and test.

What does it mean when that blinking green light turns to orange one in lp 350?

Hi
This would be "Standby"
When you press standby, the display and audio turn off and a blank screen is displayed for 15 minutes.
You can change the amount of time the projector stays in standby mode; see “Standby Time” on page 27 for details.
The LED lights orange while the projector is in standby.
• If you press standby again within 15 minutes, the projector returns to normal operations immediately. The LED changes from orange to green.
• If you press standby again after 15 minutes, there is about a 60 second delay before the lamp turns back on. The LED flashes green while the lamp is re-lighting.
• If you don’t press standby again, the lamp turns off after 15 minutes. The LED lights orange while the projector is in standby.
The full manual can be found here:
Infocus customer support
Infocus LP350 Manual
I hope these help
