Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Somebody copy songs to my ipod nano /and the songs appear on the compter when you plug it in but it willnot down load on my ipod nano

Sounds like they did not use a iTunes to copy the songs to the iPod.
iPods/Phones/Pads, etc require iTunes to create a sort of file that tells the iPod where the music file is located at on the mp3 player.
So if they just plugged it in via usb and drag and dropped mp3 files over then there is no file to tell the iPod where they are.
So you'll need to drag those music files off of your iPod back onto a computer and then use iTunes to import the songs into iTunes and sync your iTunes library to your iPod.

My Slick MP3 player is unable to play songs copied to it because they are protected. How do I get around that?

You don't if it is protected the MP3 either pay for the download or get your music elsewhere so that they are not protected. Protected music videos etc are protected and cannot be duplicated because of encoding. I cannot legally tell you at least not in here as to where to go and get free music nor do I advise you to go this route. There are plenty of paid sites you can purchase music for your I Pod or sticks or whatever you are copying them to, be careful if you go any other route there are fines and jail it is rare but these infringements are getting worse to get around and they are looking for those that abuse copy written material. How do you download songs to the slick stick mp3 player

connect your slick to the pc and make sure that your pc detects your slick stick by checking on your device manager...

also make sure if the file format of the songs are in mp3 and WMA. other files are not supported.

Well depending on what mp3 player it is, it will probably tell you on the box or on the manual what software you need... it will probably the latest windows media player.

How do you download songs from your computer to your slick stick mp3 player?

There are some mp3 players that can be connected directly to the computer through a USB cable. Once you have the songs saved on your computer all you have to do is to drag or copy the songs on your music/mp3 folder.

Though some MP3 players require a certain software that needs to be installed on the computer first and then will assist you in transferring files from your computer to your mp3.

I hope this helps.
