Question about Hotpoint Washing Machines

Waters going through GASKET FLOOD HEAD, on Extra Large Load!!!

I have a HotPoint Mod: vbxr1070w0ww. Water is coming out of the GASKET FLOOD HEAD and attached pipe when the washer is agitating. This only happens when washing Ex-Large loads. I have been washing ex-large loads for a long time now in this machine but this problem is recent. Could the problem be with the GASKET FLOOD HEAD or the Water Level Pressure Switch or could the problem lay in the part near the base of the tub that the Water Level pressure switch is connected to. Also I don't beleive that the pressure hose is damaged. I looked at it last night but i can check it again if necessary. Thanks for the help.

SOURCE: Whirlpool washer overflow during wash cycle

What you can try is to get the machine empty and remove the hose that connects the pressure hose to the switch and blow air through it to make sure it is clear, then tap on the nozzle where the hose connects on the switch to make sure it is also clear.

The water heater on my hotpoint aquarius wd440 1400 spin washer drier came out causing water to flood out my kitchen i have knocked it back in but it came back out again should there be some sort of a clip...

I trust this is the water heater you are referring to...There is a large nut 10mm in the centre of it this has to be tight, this in turn will Expand the rubber water seal and in effect stop any leaks...God luck

You need to clean the filter.
Remove lower rear panel of washer, locate and remove large black hose on bottom of drum.
Remove and clean plastic filter inside the hose.

My filter!!

First of all,lay the drain hose down to floor level and let the water run into a bucket or similar, this will empty the washer of water.
the filter is inside the large black hose on bottom of drum.
Undo hose, remove and clean filter
Refit filter and hose.
Remove hose onto pump, and check for blockage or obstruction here as well.
This should solve your problem.
Good luck.

Will not pump out

Remove lower rear panel of washer. Lay the drain hose down into a bucket or bowl, and drain all the water out, so you do not have a flood when you remove the hose.
Locate, and remove large black hose on bottom of tub. Remove plastic filter inside, and clean. Check pump also. Refit filter and hose.

Plz rate if helped.

My hotpoint aqualtis smells awful. the smell is coming from the drum. we have taken the pump off and although this smelled it was nowere near as bad as what is coming from the drum.

run a large load with no clothes and no soap. use hot water and a full gallon or more of bleach. do an extra rinse to make sure all the bleach is rinsed out before putting clothes in it again.

Hotpoint Aquarius WD440: IT seem when it supposed to pump the dirty water out,the waters are not coming, but if i take the pump and put down on the floor ,the water are coming out and it run the whole spin...

If you are getting voltagae to the pump and the water is not pumping out then you have a bad pump, just replace it and you have the problem solved, If you do not have voltage then we would have to find out why.
