Question about Garmin Nuvi 360 Bilingual GPS Navigator and Personal Travel Assistant GPS Receiver
HiI have just bought a Garmin Nuvi 255W which i love as it takes the angst out of finding directions in a street directory. My question is when i set it to go down to Victoria Drive Outer Harbour it takes me down Grand Junction Road rather than using the new Salisbury extension highway, which i know to be the quickest way of getting there.
The second question is what is the difference between the shortest and the fastest way to get somewhere?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

It sounds as though your avoidances is set for "Highways." From the main menu, press, "Tools" then "Settings" and then "Navigation." Press "Avoidances" and see if there is a check mark next to "Highways." If there is, press it. The check mark should disappear. Let me know if this helps.
