SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

SOURCE: Honeywell Humidifier HUT102m

its the worst design to fill it up that you could imagine. i was lost for a 1/2 hr trying to figure it out. well that 'easy to fill' feature on it means that you have to flip it upside down, balance it on its awkward shaped top, press in that spring loaded piece on the underside with one hand, and fill it (takes forever) with your other free hand in the same spot (apparently it opens up a valve that allows water in).

Hello kitty humidefier has started making a loud noise and sometimes it goes off but more often noise stays on longer. Almost sounds like a loud fan. What do I do?

This sounds like the electric motor bushings are worn which will cause vibration throughout the unit. If it is relatively new I recommend checking the warranty information and returning it to the retailer for a replacement. If you have gotten your money out of it but cannot tolerate the noise, then a replacement is in order as well. The cost of replacing the motor and installing it will most likely exceed the cost of a new humidifer.

Making loud sound when running. It is on a flat hard suface. Sounds like the fan is struggling to work. How to remove the fan to see if this is the problem. Appears to be a sealed unit

The unit is not sealed. You'll find barely visible white covers over the holes where there are screws you can remove. Then the mid cover comes off and you can access the entire electronic configuration underneath including the fan. Looks almost like a PC fan but it is 18V. I am not sure where to find a replacement...:(

I have had my Hello Kitty Humidifier about a year and a half. I have been very pleased, but yesterday it stopped working. It puts out steam, but not enough to make it out the top. It kind of bubbles down...

sounds like the fan in the bottom does not have enough space. make sure the humidifer is on a flat hard surface. If its on carpet or other soft surface the fan can't push air out and the vapor won't come out.

On/Off function

the kitty will turn off if you rotate the dail all the way to off (straight up). Look at the pink arrow on the dial. You will feel that the knob does not want to go any further when you are at "on" which is the lowest setting and no steam comes out. But you have to go all the way to off.
The elephant and frog models have actual on/off switches but this one its just the dail.

Very little water left/ fills up and leaks

**With the unit unplugged**
the float sensor is probably getting sticky with residue and buildup (lime, grime, etc). Try cleaning the little float and that area. It should move easily when clean.
