I used to have a ati radeon x850xt but this broke the other day so just got ati x1650 and since i installed this to the pc, windows will not load properly and if it does load about 5 minutes into using my pc the screen will go white and unresponsive and the keyboard locks and nothing works at all therefore i have to reset it to try and get it loaded up back to windows. I have not altered any bios settings and sometimes when swtiching on the pc, it will not load past the windows logo and either restart or my screen will just go off. Can anyone help me please

Yes the card does support the screen. If you have blank screen right from turn on, chack that you have not plugged the monitor into the onboard graphics port instead of your Radeon. If you have plugged it into the right port then you have hardware problems. Could be any of the following:
2. Video Card
3. System memory
Try a different monitor and get back to me if you want troubleshooting tips.
If you are experiencing "spots" on the screen, then there are two possibilities. First, you may have improper drivers installed for your video card. Please check the ATI website for the latest drivers for your video card. If this does not correct the problem then it is quite possible that your adapter or the connection on the video card is physically damaged. Try another adapter. If this does not solve the problem I would recommend a new video card or having your current X series looked at by ATI.
For this card they recomment at leat a power supply rating of 450 watts. If you have lower than this then I would suggest upgrading the power supply. A 550 watt psu is reasonably priced and should give you plenty of power for future use. Hope this helps.
