Hi, It is the solenoid that is sticking, It there fore needs opening up, the solenoid valve stripping and cleaning, or replace at a cost of about £12 then putting back together. they don,t like being left and not used. It is possable if you keep clicking for it to start working again.

I had a similar problem with the Vaporetto Sprint. Heating up but no steam in the brush but there was steam from the iron accessory. This model has the "no-volt" team control- no electricity in the handle. I opened the trigger handle. The Torx screws were non-obstructed. I found that the trigger activated a pneumatic pump. The pressure from this pushed a needle in the connector for the canister into a hole in the canister which opens the steam valve. The rubber in the tubing had perished and split. I was able to cut it back to sound rubber. I connected it to the piston-pump control and secured it with a small cable tie. The handle is working fine now. Plenty steam.

Check the wand and line for calcium build up especially in the nozzle. Hard water will deposit a lot of calcium in the system, which needs to be cleaned regularly to keep it running freely.

No steam polti 2001r, heats up clicks, but no steam!!!!!!

the solenoid valve isn,t operating when you pull the trigger. It is caused by either the coil has burnt out on the solenoid or the valve itself is stuck

It should go just below the red providing steam isn,t escaping from the cap otherwise you won,t get the pressure build up to enable it to come out when you pull the trigger

Polti Vaporetto 2400: Water out light comes on when tank is full

Hi you need to put 5ml of Kal Stop fo Polti machines into 1000/1500ml of water into the tank, The stronger solution is better (1000ml) Let it heat up and this should break down the limescale on the solenoid. I tried this today and it has worked saving ££££'s in repair by Polti.
