Have a look in device manager
Press the Windows key (bottom left of the keyboard} and at the same time press the R key, now in the search box that appears - type devmgmt.msc
have a look under imaging systems click on the + sign and see if you have a Camera listed
Also on Sony they should have supplied an application for the camera
maybe called ArcSoft WebCam Companion - see if you have that program folder - listed at all

Hi,
First, you need to try re-installing the Camera Driver and Applications to fix the issue.
Click this link to download the Camera Driver for the Computer.
Please download the file to a folder in the Computer. Then, please open the folder where the file is download and double click on it to begin the installation. Please follow the onscreen instructions to continue the installation process. After installing the Driver, please restart the Computer for the settings to take the effect.
If the issue still persists, please try re-installing the Camera Application in the Computer.
You can download the Camera Application from this link
Please download and install the Camera Application in the Computer. Please make sure that you restart the Computer after each installation for the settings to take the effect. Re-installing the Camera Driver and Camera Application should fix it.
If this did not fix the issue, please open the Device Manager. (to open the Device Manager, press the Windows Logo + R Keys together, this will open the Run window, in the Run window, please type DEVMGMT.MSC and press the Enter Key. On the Device Manager window, please check if the "Imaging Devices" is listed. If listed, please try re-installing the Camera Application again. If the Imaging Devices category is missing even after re-installing the Driver, you may need to restore the computer to the factory defaults to check if it is hardware related.
Please post a reply when you are done with the above steps,
Best of luck...!!
