I have a Pearl 8100. Problem is I cannot hear voice from the phone.but If i use Headset or bluetooth or enable speaker i can hear the voice. Can any one help in fixing this problem.
I think the internal speaker is damaged. You can use speaker and turn the volume down but if the phone isn't under warranty I don't think you can easily fix it.

more than likely the connection inside the phone for the speaker has broken or become loose. I would recommend taking to your cell phone provider and seeing if they have any means of fixing or replacing the phone.
when pressing the call button to turn on hold it a little longer then usual after the headset has turn on, it will flah red and blue, then simply do a bluetooth scan with your phone, it will detect the headset.
The Blackberry Pearl was designed to work with 2.0 model bluetooth handsfree headsets. Whereas the Motorola H500 is compatible with 1.1 - 1.2 bluetooth apps only. I'm guessing you will have to dish out the cash on this one, sorry!
Assuming you have the audio volume turned up, do you have a bluetooth headset? Check the Bluetooth options to make sure there are no associated bluetooth devices (or just turn bluetooth off).
If that still doesn't work, try clicking the trackwheel and seeing if it says "Mute" or "Unmute" respectively.
If you still can't hear the callers voice, you may have a defective earpiece in the phone and it's time for repair. If you don't have a bluetooth headset, you can try to use one of those to hold a conversation. I have my bluetooth headset around my neck at all times, I can't stand talking without it. As an added bonus, people who can't see my earpiece in my ear thinks I'm talking to myself.
Pearl's speaker volume is generally pretty low, but quite OK for a reasonably quiet room. Make sure you press the 'P' key to turn on the speaker phone. You will get an icon in the display window which indicates it. Also, of course, make sure you turn the volume all the way using the keys on the side. Watch the volume slider icon to make sure it's all the way up.
RIM has a new OS for the 8100 pearl (OS 4.3). This OS supports A2DP streaming which is necessary for listening to music with bluetooth headphones. The OS is out in beta version now and supposedly available on bit torrent. I hear that AT&T will release the OS for their phones in April or May.
Place the unit headset back in pairing mode by holding the call button for 1 to 5 seconds until the light turns purple. Then open the boom. Then try to reconnect .
