Re: E602-0001 on a Cannon Immage Runner 3300G
K well this is tricky when putting in a new hard drive the tech needs to have the software on his computer to load it.. you can get one from nationwide board repair they need to know the exact model of the copier then the tech installs it and loads system software. you could try holding down the 1 and 9 keys for a few seconds at turn on this runs the disk check it may take 20 minutes to complete when it says done turn it off then on its worth a shot good luck

0000 An error in the rotation of the fixing film is detected. The reading of the main thermistor is 100°C or higher and, in addition, the fixing film sensor does not detect the rotation of the film for 6 sec or more
while the fixing motor is driven.
Main cause The fixing film sensor (PS45) is faulty. The DC controller PCB is faulty. Caution To clear the error, execute the following in service mode:
most of the time the fixing film is torn or slipping
turn it off, hold down the 1 & 9 keys and turn it back on. The screen will cone up blank exept for a flashing block in the top left corner. Wait, for a long long time, 20-40 min or more, do not interupt it. The block will drop followed by another one, tetris style. When it is done it will say "download mode" . When it is done turn it off and back on. If this doesnt work (and there is a good chance it wont) then you need a new hard drive, which is not a job for an end user.
turn of the copier and hold down the 1 and 9 and turn the power back on. you shoule see a black screen with a little block in the upper corner. the blocks will fall to the bottom. when this is done cycle the power.it may take 30-60 minutes.
this is like a scandisk on a computer and will try to repair itself. If this does not work a service tech can try to format and reload sys software.
