Panasonic Quintrix TV keeps turning itself off

If it has been left for a few hours it will stay on for about ten minutes before turning itself off, after that it turns itself off the instant after I turn it back on.
Driving me nuts....

Same issue as OP, seems rather random, TV will stay on for an indeterminate length of time then shut off to standby! Turning back on results in the TV turning back off within a few seconds.

A temporary fix appears to be to turn the TV back on from standby, immediately turn it off fully via the on-of switch and then turn back on, this takes the TV out of standby and seems to reset the cycle with the TV turning itself off after a random amount of time.

Pain in the arse all round really.

Hi.
Yes it could be a cooling problem, If your tv has any filters remove & clean them ensure fan can turn freely & that nothing can or is snagging it.

SOURCE: TV Turns off and on

How long since the last time the bulb was replaced? It sounds like the bulb is overheating and triggering a safety shutdown.

It's probably in need of nothing more than a good cleaning (open it up, clean off the boards with a can of air) and *may* be time to replace the bulb.

Check for bad connectors inside. Usually, you can find 'blink codes', but I can't find any for this old dinosaur.

My Panasonic LED TV picture goes away after a few minutes

Could be a bad connection that disconnects when heat in the system causes it to expand. Take to a pro or call manufacturer, they might have a recall or free repair available.

I have a 2001, Panasonic 27

Suspect either bad solder connections somewhere or a issue in the power supply of the set----set will shut down for a number of reasons--it monitors voltages inside and if some go high or low it will shut down.

Condensation on the circuits needs drying off by using the TV. There maybe also contact resistance preblems which needs vibration from the side of the TV to get it working right.

The TV switches it self off

Sorry to here about your TV problems but it is almost imposable to help someone with technical problems if they don't list a product, model or P/N number.
Either-way, I would try moving the unit in an area where it has more breathing space if poss-able.
Also, is the unit in a air conditioned area or in a Damp basement or Florida room ?
I would also, go on line and see if Panasonic has any call backs on this unit.
This may be a feature which can be reset without to much trouble.
Next time please list the size & model #.
