Sanyo GVR S955 will not power up. Has low hrs of use.
This deck has very low hours of usage, so I'm quite sure its not a motor or mechanical issue.
The problem wasn't a gradual either. It was working great one day, then 6mo. later when I went to use it again - it wouldn't turn on.
Its like there's no power. When you try switching on, there's no momentary display flash, no blink, nothing.
If not, know where I could get a repair manual?

Disconnect from a/c source [unplug]
Open back of VCR and LOOK inside. Follow a/c "power" plug to a board.that will house a fuse. Replace fuse with the same rating ( voltage, current, e.i. 120v, 1.5A; 115v ,3.5A ) REconnect cover with screws, plug a/c in see if it works.
No work, get a tech to take a look.
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

An E6 or E7 error code is an incline error code. The E7 code means the potentiometer value the console is reading from the lift motor is out of range. This can happen when there is a bad wire harness connection or a damaged wire harness. It could also just mean the incline motor needs to be adjusted back into range. If all wire connections look ok, the incline motor will need to be adjusted.
Turn the power OFF, wait 5-seconds and turn back ON.
Get into test mode and enter through the I/O testing step. This screen will display the potentiometer value of the incline motor. Different models will have different values. Check to see if the running deck is raised to high incline level or if it is at the low level. If the running deck is at a low position press the incline up button. This will cause the incline motor to raise the running deck up. When the deck gets to a mid-level position, press the incline up button a second time to stop the deck. If the running deck is in a high incline position, use the incline down button to adjust the deck to a mid-level position.
Once the unit is in the mid-level position, power the treadmill off for 5-seconds and then power it back ON.
Start the treadmill.
Once the treadmill starts the running deck will move to the level 0 position. If this does not resolve the issue or it will not adjust please contact customer service.
was concerned about the hp pavilion dv4 Battery Life as well, and I still am. I
haven’t done too much testing yet, but from my initial usage I am seeing
around 2 hours with general usage (browsing the Internet, using
messengers, doing a video chat for maybe 30 mins) There are settings to
change between conserving power and system performance so you can adapt
it to what you like.
I imagine with Power saving mode on and light usage it will get over 2
hours (but not near 3 hours) with High Performance mode and heavy usage
(photoshop, gaming especially) you would probably get an hour maybe 1
besides those laptop
battery issues this is a wonderful computer and I’m very impressed.
It runs very fast and speeds through everything I’ve thrown at it
(Including large photoshop files that take my desktop over 30 seconds to
even load) you can fine more at http://www.laptopbatteryinc.com.au
Motors and generators are the same in this sense. The winding of a field coil is defective. The winding heats up with use and the winding expands causing it to short out and quits doing it's intended purpose. An hour of cooling allows the winding to contract thus clearing the short circuit. A good motor rewinder person can find the defective winding with an oven or heat gun and can rewind it for a fraction of a new welder generator.
This is a predesigned message automaticly displayed at 50 hours, for oil change reminder. It doesnt know that you changed it. It will shut off within 10 hrs. It will come back on at 100 hrs. Its just a reminder.
Hello there, the Nintendo DS Lite has four levels of brightness. The battery will last 15-19 hours on the lowest settings, and 5-8 hours on the brightest. This can also vary depending on the type of game activity." So the DS should last the whole time in even on the highest brightness settings, if fully charged. Nintendo states that it takes 3 hours to fully charge the DS.
hope this helped, also this site will also help you to get your ds battery to last for longer
this is about average for on full time! Don;t confuse 'Standby Time" with actual usage time in continuous usage. Earlier models only gave 2 hrs!
I made a mod to be able to fit an Opti-Sola charger ( quite small) That uses solar power to recharge or extend running time. There are also battery units fror Palm Zires that can be modified tro fit this unit to get extended time in the field If you want more details of these items get back to me. email@example.com
I suggest that you read the manual carefully.
Sometimes the wording may have to put things on such as a pulley in not quite the correct way.
Once you do that while the engine is off try moving the pulley maually to see if it moves smoothly. If is suppose to lock or snap in position listen for the sound. Once you have done that and it still happens the pulley may be defective or not the correct size for that model. If you cannot resolve the problem at this point get a good mechanic to look into the
